Our client is a leading real estate services business who are looking for an experienced HR Generalist with extensive payroll knowledge to act as People Services Manager to cover a maternity leave contract.

Reporting to the CPO, you will be responsible for leading the People Services Teams, reviewing and developing all People Services processes and materials and will work in collaboration with the rest of the People Team, including Business Partnering. You will also oversee all payroll processes such as final sign off and assisting with the running of payroll, and managing the Payroll, Systems, Data and People Services teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing leadership, direction, oversight and support for both People Services teams in order to develop their capability.
  • Set KPIs for both teams and report on performance, delivering against set targets.
  • Work with the HR Business Partnering team to ensure that all employee experience administrative activities adhere to legislation and statutory regulations.
  • Driving improvements in payroll process ensuring consistent service levels are maintained to a high standard.
  • Management of all Audit, P11D, Accommodation and PSA activities.
  • Management of annual pay reviews and bonus scheme implementation.
  • Ensure system upgrades and functionality are managed efficiently and assist in implementing improvements.
  • Resolving complex queries relating to customer service/administrative support.
  • Undertake projects as required to support the development and improvement of the People Services function.

You will be a strong HR Generalist with extensive payroll knowledge and project management experience, having previously managed a team.
This is a maternity leave contract which is due to run for 15-18 months, starting as soon as possible. This is a remote position with travel to the New Milton office once a month and occasional travel to the Worcester office.
