Job Description
Courtyard by Marriott, London Heathrow, managed by Legacy hotels and resorts has an opportunity for a full time receptionist to be a part of our exceptional front of house team. The hotel boasts 244 bedrooms and the front desk can be exceptionally busy at times therefore you should have the ability to multitask and work under pressure, whilst remaining customer focused.
Job duties
- Check guests in and out of the hotel and assist with any enquires throughout the duration of their stay
- Promote & upsell special promotions offers & pass this information on to the guest in order to maximise hotel sales.
- Effectively communicate between departments such as housekeeping and maintenance & food and beverage, passing on any relevant front desk information
- Be fully conversant and able to operate the hotel front office system (Training provided)
- Anticipate guests needs, and carry these out in a courteous helpful manner
- Ensure handover procedures are followed in the transferring of all relevant information on a daily basis
- Check billing instructions and guest credit for accuracy and deal with cash and credit transactions in accordance with hotel and company procedures
- In accordance with hotel procedures ensure security of any safety deposit, guest property and lost property
- Complete any reasonable duties at the request of Reception Manager
- Adhere to Hotel Fire Procedures, Health and Safety Policy and all other legal requirements
