Conference Recorder (Admin and Clerical)
Fox Morris Group are currently looking for Conference Reorder/ Minute taker in the Bedford area
The Contract is long-term
£13.50ph

Your role will induce
To provide clerical support within the Conference and Review Team, to support the Independent Child Protection Chairpersons facilitating all aspects of child protection conferences. Where identified to support the Independent Reviewing Officer in their role.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To support arrangements for all Child Protection conferences in accordance with LSCB guidelines and administrative operational procedures as requested by Team Leader.
- To attend and minute all Conferences in sufficient detail including medical and legal to ensure that all statements made and opinions expressed are accurately recorded.
- To ensure that the Child Protection Plan/Child in Need Plan is sent out within 24 hours of the Conference.
- To produce a draft of the minutes for approval by the Conference Chair Person.
- To finalise and produce an approved set of minutes within 24 hours.
- To distribute the minutes within timescales to all those nominated to attend the conferences and to any other agency as directed by the Conference Chair Person.
- To ensure that the child protection monitoring system is notified of any appropriate change of circumstances.
- To ensure that Review conferences are held within the specified timescales by operating the relevant business processes.
- To verify child protection records, in conjunction with the child protection monitoring system using appropriate database system.
- To provide clerical and typing support to Conference Chair/ Independent Review officers, when necessary.
- To cover, other duties of a similar nature and level of responsibility, as may be required. Such may include providing secretarial support for the local authority designated officer and the preparation for and recording of joint evaluation meetings, and the production and dissemination of minutes taken.
- To assist in the production of statistics as required by Managers.
