We are one Trust with 3 hospital sites across Frimley, Ascot and Slough An opportunity has arisen for you to join the Medical Acute Dependency Unit nursing team within the Medicine directorate at Frimley NHS Foundation Trust, Wexham Park site. Our MADU is a 16 bedded unit and has facilities for full cardiac monitoring and non-invasive ventilation. We provide level one and two care to patients with a variety of conditions from GI bleeds, DKA, type 1 and type 2 respiratory failure requiring non-invasive ventilation, CPAP, High Flow Nasal Oxygen Therapy, Heart failure, severe electrolyte imbalance, central lines and arterial lines monitoring, amongst others. We are looking to appoint a dynamic individual with strong interpersonal skills and an enthusiasm for caring for acutely ill medical patients. Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust provides NHS hospital services for around 900,000 people across Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey and south Buckinghamshire. We brought together Heatherwood and Wexham Park Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Frimley Park Hospital NHS Foundation Trust to create Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust on 1 October 2014. As well as delivering excellent general hospital services to local people, we provide specialist heart attack, vascular, stroke, spinal, cystic fibrosis and plastic surgery services across a much wider area. We have three main hospitals - Frimley Park in Frimley near Camberley, Heatherwood in Ascot and Wexham Park near Slough.
