Job Description
We are an established law firm with offices based in East London, recruiting for the positions of Paralegal, Office Assistant.
We are currently seeking a hardworking candidate in our East London branch. The candidate will work closely and exclusively with our Head of Department, having the opportunity to learn about immigration/civil law in practice.
Main duties
· Report to the Head of Department
· Liaising with clients and taking notes
· Observing client meetings
· Assisting with casework in family law
· Reviewing correspondence and preparing letters
· Identifying key dates in court documents
· Assisting with administrative duties/photocopying/file maintenance
· Assisting with new client enquiries
· Legal research/making applications/
The candidate must be organised, reliable and punctual. We require a candidate who can commute to our East London office daily, unfortunately remote working will not be possible for this vacancy. Our East London branch is within walking distance of Upton Park station.
We welcome all candidates regardless of experience. This includes but is not limited to those who have completed or are currently studying (i.e., LLB, LPC, BVC etc.). The desire to progress and take the imitative is paramount.
It is an ideal opportunity for the willing candidate to work with experienced caseworkers and Solicitors.
