Join one of the world’s leading Yacht Charter companies in an exciting role as a Provisioning & Beverage Product Manager working with our global Yacht Charter team!

You will be working with Sunsail and The Moorings which are our 2 incredible Yacht Charter brands within the Travelopia Group. We offer customers unique holiday experiences out on the water, from independent sailing holidays to fully catered crewed and power yacht charter we offer our customers a 5* service. Our Yacht Charter team is proud to be part of the Travelopia group. The world's largest collection of specialist travel brands, Travelopia is at the forefront of global travel for those wanting something distinctive and adventurous.

As the Product Manager, you will be responsible for our Provisioning & Beverage (P&B) product suite and would focus on exploiting the opportunities within these products and their functionality to maximise revenue and improve the way our colleagues and customers interact with them.

We have teams all over the world, and for this role, we are looking for someone UK based, who would be happy to visit our Surbiton office regularly. This role also gives the opportunity for international travel and working flexibly at times to collaborate with colleagues across different time zones.

What you will be doing

  • Defining the vision for our P&B Products (Point of Sale & Inventory Management system) and surrounding management processes, based on customer needs, growth opportunities and business goals
  • Articulate the strategic roadmap for P&B, gaining agreement from senior collaborators to offset product investment with measured returns
  • Explore commercial opportunities e.g. partnerships, offers and packages or the use of sales analytics for targeted marketing
  • Drive step change in customer satisfaction by improving the end-to-end customer journey, enhancing the functionality available and educating colleagues and customers
  • Product lead on potential future transformation with P&B Product set, beyond continuous improvement on current systems e.g. switch out of current platforms or full-scale upgrades
  • Measure and report on the financial and customer benefits realised
  • Operational oversight holding responsible colleagues at our bases to account for maintaining optimal pricing and online stock lists
  • Work with the Technology Partner to plan and prioritize the product’s technical development backlog and ensure changes are rolled out clearly and effectively to impacted populations, be that colleagues or customer
  • Become an expert across the P&B product suite with the ability to champion and support colleagues and customers with their understanding and interaction with the products.
  • Stay ahead of innovation in the broader market, customer trends and competitors

What we are looking for

  • Product Management or ownership experience within an e-Commerce background environment
  • Strong commercial savvy
  • Determination to drive positive change and growth and confidence to employ multiple strategies to achieve this
  • Ability to collaboratively communicate across a diverse business, influence and inspire change
  • Organised with the ability to balance planning ahead whilst emersed in the here and now
  • Supplier relationship management skills and experience
  • Knowledge of technology in relation to software product development
