Key Responsibilities:
-
Teach mechanical and electrical engineering on across a range of courses (level 3 to level 5)

Work with employers to monitor the progress of Degree Apprentices

Develop and employ a variety of teaching, learning and assessment strategies, monitor learner progress and provide effective feedback throughout the academic year

Make a full contribution to team meetings and have a positive impact on the overall quality of this subject area
About you:
-
Possess a suitable qualification (minimum level 6)
-
Experience of teaching a range related topics in a post-16 setting

Experience of working in industry
-
Possessing a recognised teaching qualification is desirable, not essential

You need to be an enthusiastic and committed individual who can engage, inspire and challenge all learners to achieve their individual potential

Good organisational and problem solving skills and will be prepared to work flexibly
