The Role
The Solutions Architecture team provide solutions design and technical governance across all Tesco Bank channels within an Agile at Scale (SAFe) ways of working. We work closely with the other architecture teams, product managers, technical SMEs and feature teams to deliver best of breed, strategically aligned solutions to our customers and colleagues.
- As a Solutions Architect, you will be able to demonstrate a breadth of experience in solutions design and architecture governance that can be applied across all Tesco Bank channels and product lines and that are aligned with Tesco Bank’s and Tesco Group’s business values.

You will be able to demonstrate excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, engaging with business leaders and collaborating with architecture, engineering and business resources of all levels.

You will be able to demonstrate excellent leadership and coaching skills that can be applied to championing collaborative / iterative design and delivery in this leading technology role within the agile release train comprising of multiple feature teams.

You will thrive on solving business challenges, creating best of breed technology solutions for Tesco Bank customers, that are aligned to our business and technology strategies and standards.
- You will also be able to demonstrate the ability to contribute and support the development of design and engineering standards and patterns that support the Tesco Bank’s engineering operating model and architectural alignment process.
What you’ll bring
You will be able to demonstrate previous experience of the following:
- Broad range of experience within an architecture and design role, preferably in financial services or another regulated industry, and preferable within an Agile at Scale (or Agile) ways of working.

Strong background in digital, security, data and application architectures.

Demonstrable experience of using technology in new, exciting and innovative ways.

Strong focus on defining and designing for operational and security non-functional requirements.

Experience of design governance processes and deliverables, including design artifacts, reference architectures and design patterns, preferable within an Agile at Scale (or Agile) ways of working.
- Good knowledge of customer security, information security and data governance.

Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels.

Strong knowledge of current technology trends and methodologies. #LI-KP1
