TRAUMA AND ORTHOPAEDIC DEPARTMENT
LOCUM CONSULTANT IN SPINAL SURGERY - 12 month appointment
This position is initially for a 12 month locum appointment with the possibility of a substantive position due to the retirement of current Consultants. The successful candidate will have responsibility for the management of both elective and acute patients, including spinal on-call. Candidates with a background in either orthopaedics or neurosurgery will be considered. The inclusion of general orthopaedic trauma work can be considered in relation to the skills and practice of the successful candidate, but this is not essential.
