Reporting to the SME Credit Operations Team Lead, we are looking for an SME Credit Operations Agent to help support our growing lending business.
Responsibilities
- Proactively respond to inbound customer queries received via the Lending Zendesk queues
- Complete initial vetting of SME lending applications
- Generate SME credit facility legal documentation
- Communicate credit lending decisions to businesses
- Support the Lending team by putting in place credit limits, payment plans and assigning interest schemes
- Liaising with other areas within the Bank, such as Legal, Compliance, and Underwriting
- Proactively seek ways to improve current credit operations processes and procedures
Requirements:
- Great interpersonal skills, with the ability to respond to customer queries efficiently and sympathetically
- Organised, with the ability to deliver to deadlines and manage conflicting priorities within a dynamic environment
- Operates collaboratively within a team environment
- Experience in business lending would be desirable
