Job Role: Warehouse Operatives required for Amesbury, SP4
Contract Type: Temp to Perm

gap personnel currently have multiple warehouse operative vacancies for is a privately owned family run discount retailer selling top brands at the lowest possible price on the UK high street. Based at their large DC warehouse in Amesbury, the warehouse operative is fundamental to the day to day running of the site. The site itself is one of the most advanced and highly automated distribution centres in the UK and runs 24/7.
The site runs 7 days a week, 24-7 providing candidates with the opportunity for significant earnings and further career opportunities. General warehouse duties include using an automated system (caddy pick) to pick products onto cages to be dispatched to store. Other picking element includes Order Picking Units (OPUs), Pedestrian Picking, Secure Picking and manual handling, as well as being on your feet for the duration of your shift - you can expect to walk up to 10,000 steps per shift. FULL TRAINING IS PROVIDED - you will be provided with a 1-year rota following induction training.
Choice of fixed shifts available:
06:00 – 14:00, 5 out of 7 days (including weekends) - £11.13ph overtime available being paid at £16.70ph
14:00 – 22:00, 5 out of 7 days (including weekends) - £11.13ph overtime available being paid at £16.70ph
22:00 – 06:00, 5 out of 7 days (including weekends) - £13.87ph overtime available being paid at £20.81ph
