Production Operative- York
We are currently working in partnership with a worldwide developer and manufacturer of premiuim, high quality lateral flow tests to recruit for a number of production operatives in the City Centre of York
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a well established team for ongoing full time work.

- Days shifts- Monday to Friday 8am until 4pm, early finish of 1pm on Friday – 37.5 hours EVERY week

- £22,405.50 per annum starting (reviewed after 12 week probationary period)
- Overtime paid after 37.5 hours, time and half Saturday, double time Sunday
- On-site canteen and fully equipped kitchen
Duties
- You will work within a small team of upto 15 people where you will do a variety of the below
- Following of instructions for the assembly of Lateral Flow devices
- To dispense buffer solutions for use in testing into containers/ tubes whilst following instructions
- Put together full testing kits to be shipped out to customers, this may include following a checklist to ensure all items required for the testing are packaged and sent out together
- Despatch of products, including labelling and packing
The person
- Must be numerate and literate
- Have experience working within a busy warehouse/ factory environment
- Must have a keen eye for detail
- Must be happy with repetitive work
You will wear full PPE including a hair net.
The role is initially temporary but there may be opportunity for a contract in the future so you must be happy to start temporary.
