We are looking for a Restaurants / Kitchen Cleaner for a modern restaurant to assist with the general cleaning duties and keeping the food preparation and dining area clean at all times.

Primary responsibility is to maintain cleanness of food preparation and dining area at all times and ensure hygiene and safety regulations for kitchen staff and self. To maintain all areas of the academy buildings in a clean, tidy and hygienic condition. This will involve cleaning, washing, sweeping, mopping, dusting, washing up, polishing and vacuum cleaning of designated areas to the required standard.

• To assist with the general duties involved in the production of and

• delivery of the lunch time service

• To assist with following cleaning procedures during the lunch time

• service and after.

• To assist in the preparation and cleaning of the dining area,

• including movement of furniture where appropriate

• To assist with any extra catering required by the academy other

• than the school meal

• To maintain hygiene and safety regulations for kitchen staff and self To communicate with other Restaurant staff and departments.

• Manage and maintain the highest of cleanliness standards for the premises and the personal hygiene of the team too.

• Strictly adhere to our HACCP procedures and make sure all necessary paperwork is filled in and up to date

• An experienced cleaner with a good standard of knowledge of cleaning programmes and security issues.

• Pride taken in achieving an excellent standard of work.

• Helpful and friendly manner.

• Ability to communicate well with other staff.

• Ability to organise your own work.

• Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.

• High level of punctuality and attendance.

• A working knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act and COSHH regulations is desirable.

• Ability to work additional hours and outside of normal working hours when necessary.
