At Safran Electrical & Power, we recognise that aviation needs to innovate and change in order to protect our environment. We believe that future aircraft power systems will be hybrid-electric or full-electric, which is why we are working to develop and deliver advanced electrical solutions to help decarbonise flight. In addition to supporting the next generation of traditional aircraft, we are also working to support new VTol (Vertical Take-off and landing) products, light jets and urban mobility solutions that will revolutionise the way we fly.

If you want to help deliver this future, we are looking for enthusiastic and creative people to join our team.

The UK Safran Electrical & Power team has expertise in designing and developing electrical systems comprising generators, power conversion, distribution and control, with developing expertise in electric motors for aircraft propulsion.

The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer at Safran Electrical & Power you will provide maintenance, repairs and improvement work to the production and test equipment on site. You will assist with day-to-day facilities maintenance and ensure all servicing is carried out with minimal impact on production and engineering. You will liaise and work with sub-contractors as required, as well as the engineering and production teams to ensure disruptions are kept to a minimum.

· Assist with the control, ordering and replenishment of spare parts and components.

· Liaise and keep production and engineering teams updated to ensure they are aware of disruptions.

· Work with specialist sub-contractors to assist with maintenance on the site.
