Job Description
GBLabs is a global leader in the manufactacturing of shared storage for video editing. We have a vacancy within our production department for a production assistant.
This role will be all encompassing and includes system assembly, testing, software installation, dispatch and stock control.
We are looking for someone with a good work ethic and great attention to detail. Ability to produce articulate instructional documentation would be advantageous.
We require candidates to have GCSEs Grades A* to C (4 to 9), and it would be beneficial if they had the CompTIA A+ and/or Server+ certifications.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision and have the following skills and desirable characteristics:

· Apply knowledge to solve basic problems and make routine decisions

· Be adept with Microsoft Office
· Have general understanding of industry Health and Safety standards and regulations in order to ensure guidelines are followed and equipment is operated safety
· Have interest in computer hardware
Responsibilities will comprise of:
· Server assembly to precise requirements
· Installing of the operating system
· Troubleshooting
· Logging of all stock movement and performing monthly stock checks
· Preparing shipping and customs paperwork
· Goods in and out processing
· Purchasing of component parts
· Producing and maintaining manufacturing documentation
· Fully contributing to the process of continuous improvements and company goal of achieving zero defects
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16 per week
Salary: £20,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
