Inside the Magic, Disney Dining, and their four sister sites are looking for a Disney and entertainment enthusiast to join our team and spearhead our fact-checking department.

About the role:
Inside the Magic is looking for an innovative, detail-oriented, passionate, and knowledgeable Head of Research to join our team. You will be responsible for overseeing fact-checking on Inside the Magic, Disney Dining, and the rest of our sister sites.
We are looking to hire a full-time contractor for this role. The pay range begins at $20/hour.
We are looking for someone in the U.S. or Europe time zones.

Responsibilities:
- Fact-check articles at a high frequency.
- Grow our new fact-checking arm from the ground up.
- Work closely with the Directors of Content to establish and implement new fact-checking protocols.
- Add to content in a way that aligns with ITM's voice, tone, and brand.
- Collaborate with the editorial team to ensure timely delivery.

Requirements:
- Experience fact-checking for other publications.
- Knowledge of Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, and theme park culture.
- Ability to write in a clear, engaging, and informative tone.
- Good with systems and processes
- Strong research skills and ability to stay up-to-date with industry trends.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Very organized
