Your role
We're looking for [Operational Risk Manger] to: Do you have experience in providing compliance or risk advisory services to a business division? Do you enjoy advising and supporting compliance colleagues to ensure compliance? Are you confident when it comes to speaking up for what is right and challenging at all levels?
- Drive the identification, assessment, measurement, mitigation and monitoring of compliance and operational risk as it pertains to the 2LOD business
- Ensure risk frameworks are designed well and operating effectively
- Provide 2LOD colleagues with controls, tools, training, frameworks , information and insights required for them to manage risk
- Deliver independent risk assessment and reports that shed light on our risk profile
- Support senior management with reporting on our risk profile and control environment
Your team
You'll be working in the [Compliance and Operational Risk Control (C&ORC] team in [London]. [Someone who is an independent function providing oversight of the Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risks within the firm. The Global IB Chief of Staff team is seeking a talented individual to work in the Operational Risk Management (ORM) and Reporting area.]
Your expertise
- You have:
- a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business/Accountancy/Finance/Law or similar field
- Good knowledge/understanding of operational risk. Knowledge of operational risk framework is a plus
- Previous experience in operational risk field or reporting/management office
- Excellent written communication
- Knowledge of reporting tools such as Business Object and Tableau as a plus
- Strong analysis and problem solving skills
- Interpersonal and leadership skills
You are:
- A greater communicator both written and verbal
- Organized, detail orientated and able to work on your own initiative to critically challenge and verify documentation and processes
- Able to generate ideas and influence senior management
- Analytical with sharp numeric skills
- fluent in English
