Your next role
You will be working with Commissioners and partners to manage, monitor and review the contracts and services within Adult Social Care to encourage a vibrant, cost efficient and flexible local care market place.
The key elements of the role will be to:
- Maintain an overview of the quality of the market
- Work with internal and external colleagues to address issues and concerns
- Support providers to develop their service area in line with the Councils commissioning intentions
- Ensure high standards of quality and performance are in place, using both performance return data and undertaking monitoring visits of services in line with the Care Act
You will require a flexible approach in order to manage a busy workload and prioritise work requiring an immediate response based on risk and need.
A knowledge of health, social care or services would be an asset but an attention to detail, working to a high standard and ability to work in partnership will be the key skills required.
You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act “for the effective performance of a customer-facing role”).
