We are looking to fill the following hours: Mon – Fri 09.00 to 17.30hrs

You will be supported throughout with regular reviews of progress to develop appropriate knowledge and skills to enable personal development.

Knowledge and Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • 5 GSCE passes at A-C grade including Maths and English
  • Have the equivalent of NVQ level 3 in a subject relevant to the post.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety.
  • Knowledge of Equal Opportunities & Data Protection / Confidentiality
Desirable criteria
  • Have a good knowledge of a range of laboratory procedures.

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience of working in a laboratory setting
Desirable criteria
  • Data inputting in lab computer systems

Communication

Essential criteria
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

Personal and People Development

Essential criteria
  • Ability to be methodical, organised and self- Motivated
  • IT skills - basic computer and keyboard skills
