The role:
This role is for energetic and enthusiastic people who have the “get up and go” attitude to participate in our e-commerce operations and activities. We are looking for someone who has the initiative and drive to fulfil orders and pick & pack our very special products and consistently strives for excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities:
- Accepting product deliveries, breaking down the cases and stocking up the freezers with products according to the operating standards.
- Collecting items from throughout the kitchen, preparing and fulfilling delivery orders for delivery or pickup according to a schedule.
- Working systematically and productively, picking and packing orders in a timely manner, working to targets.
- Picking and packing products will involve manual handling including bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching and lifting (no weights heavier than 10 kilograms involved)
- As a packer, you’ll put products into boxes and crates, using bubble wrap or polystyrene chips, and then seal the containers ready for delivery to our customers. You will also ensure orders are packaged and labelled correctly to prevent returned orders.
- Making sure that the kitchen is clean and tidy by cleaning the facility daily.
- Ensuring all products are free from damage and reporting any discrepancies.
Candidate requirements:
- Knowledge of English – fluent speaker (minimum B1 level or equivalent)
- Efficient team player, working towards a shared success.
- Positive thinker.
- Creative problem solver.
Who we are looking for:
- You will be an organised individual who will ensure that the kitchen remains tidy at all times.
- You must have experience of working in a kitchen / with food products.
- You must have a solid understanding of health and safety.
- You need to be able to work independently and manage your own workload and orders effectively.
