Job Description

An exciting opportunity to work in a busy Children's A&E and Ward with dynamic team. Working between both areas on one unit caring for children from birth to age 15yrs presenting with a wide range of injuries and illnesses.

Flexibility to meet the needs of the service.
Shift work.
Support the team on the Children's Ward and A&E Unit.
Carry out regular observations on Children.
Assist with simple dressings/cleaning of wounds.
Support at meal times on the ward.

To assist the qualified nursing staff in the delivery of high quality direct and indirect patient care.

To provide assistance and support to patients, carers and the multi-disciplinary team.

To help maintain a clean and safe ward environment.
