Strong bookkeeper needed to support client managers in a business management firm in Central London.
FTC – 3-6 months
Black Frame is a business management firm dealing with a variety of clients working in the entertainment industry and are responsible for providing a comprehensive, all-round service with regards to their personal and business accounting and finances.
We are currently looking for someone with strong bookkeeping knowledge to support the client managers and free up their time for other accounting work. This is to cover the notice period of a new recruit.
As this is a fixed term position, the right candidate would need to already have solid bookkeeping knowledge and in particular be able to use Xero accounting software with reasonable proficiency.
Introduction to the specifics of each client would absolutely be provided but training regarding the technical aspects of bookkeeping or use of the software would not.
This is primarily a bookkeeping role but as the work we do is very varied, it would involve a range of ad hoc tasks. This is a support role and should not be overly demanding but a willingness to get involved and help where needed is important.
Primary duties would include:
- Bank uploads and reconciliations.
- Day-to-day bookkeeping for a range of sole traders and limited companies.
- Basic data analysis and processing for monthly client reports.
- Preparation and checking of VAT returns (to be passed on for review).
- Assisting client managers in some basic year end tasks.
- Adhoc tasks related to supporting the work of the client managers.

Salary: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
