We are now recruiting for the position of General Operative, based at our factory in Brigg, North Lincolnshire. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, growing team of experts in the field and build on your career.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a General Operative, reporting to the Assistant Production Manager, you will be working within a team of operatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Stripping, cleaning and assembling of moulds, which includes unscrewing, re-screwing, sealing, repetitive mould assemblies, placing of dummy joints etc.
- Demoulding units.
- Installing cast-in items.
- Placing reinforcement cages and concrete including the proper use of internal and external vibrating equipment.
- The reading of drawings and dimensional checking of work.
- Working with natural stone, bricks and other cast on materials.
- Any concrete or stone finishing tasks including washing down, grinding, rubbing down and bagging in panels.
Required Experience:
- Construction experience desirable.
- Experience in and ability to use hand tools.
