Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a full time night care assistant position. The shift pattern is 3 x 10 hour night shift week 1 4 x 10 hour night shift week 2 - from 22:00hrs to 08:00hrs (average 35hrs per week). There is always the opportunity to pick up extra shifts if required. You will be expected to take part in a rota and work alternate weekends. We welcome applications from both men and women.
Preferably you will have a least a QCF/NVQ 2 in care (or working toward it) - but this is not essential, you will be provided with the opportunity to receive on the job training in order to gain this level. You will also be required to eventually register with Social Care Wales. Your passion and attitude towards providing care for people is as important to us as the qualification. We ask that you treat people with care, compassion, dignity and respect; basically, as you would your own family. The position will be predominantly nights but this may change depending on the needs of the business. If you are this individual we would love to hear from you.
This post is subject to satisfactory references and DBS (this can be paid for by the company and taken as a deduction in your first pay, if you are unable to pay for it upfront).
