Restaurant Job Description
We are looking to recruit an experienced Restaurant Waiter to join the Langham Family.
Please only apply for this position if you have previous ‘Restaurant Waiter Service’ experience in a Hotel or Restaurant. We will only consider applicants who have previously worked in this role.
Reporting to our Restaurant Manager, you will form an integral part of the customer experience and hotel team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic alongside a passion for providing customer service excellence, be well presented and personable, and possess a good command of the English language both written and verbal.
Your main responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:
· Providing ALL customers with warm, friendly and efficient service.
· Receive customer food orders and communicate these clearly within the team
· Prepare food and drink orders and deliver these to the customer in a discreet professional and courteous manner.
· Remove used cutlery and finished plates from the customers table in a discreet professional and courteous manner
· Polishing and preparation of table items i.e. Cutlery, Glasses etc.
· Laying of restaurant tables for each Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner service.
· Stock control, Tidiness and Organisation of Restaurant Still Room.
· Working closely and efficiently within the Restaurant team
· The adherence to all Health & Safety and Fire departmental procedures.

· Must be 18 years of age or over due to licensing laws.
· Polite, well presented and personable.
· Good friendly customer service and interpersonal skills essential, enabling you to work efficiently within a close team.
· Possess a good command of the English language, both written and verbal
· Some customer service experience desired (1 year)

Salary: £8.43-£11.73 per hour
