Job Description

**Echocardiographer position in Andover**

Cardiac Investigations are seeking a Chief Cardiac Physiologist/Clinical Scientistspecialised in Echoto work within our new diagnostic hub in Andover War Memorial Hospital.

The successful candidate will be competent in transthoracic echo, having attained accreditation in Transthoracic Echo (BSE or equivalent).

Full or part time hours available.If the successful candidate wished to maintain a varied role within Cardiac Physiology this would be an option.

An annual 20% R&R bonus is available.

• Perform and accurately report Transthoracic Echocardiograms to BSE standard, escalating to Clinicians when required in an appropriate timeframe.
• Support, supervise and teach junior members of staff.
• Be involved in clinical audit to improve the services delivered by the department.
• Attend regular MDTs for echocardiography.
• Engage in internal and external education to reinforce and further develop clinical knowledge.
