Piping Rock UK Ltd, is a Global manufacturer and supplier of health products, combining decades of expertise, quality ingredients and product innovation to provide world leading nutritional supplements for all.
We have a brand new, purpose built office/warehouse (LE3) where packaging and international fulfilment is operating from, we currently operate 1 production line, with a 2nd line due very soon, it is a great time to join the production team.
Senior Production Operative – JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Production operative to join our friendly team. The ideal candidate will have a flexible and adaptable approach with good communication skills to flourish in our fast-paced working environment. This is a physically active role — you will be on your feet for most of the day within the packaging hall, making sure the production line is running smoothly and accurately as it can. Taking the lead, making sure each section of the line is running and problem solving any issues.
Start date- ASAP
The role is full-time Monday to Friday — may include weekend and/or shift work in the future

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Production Operative will support the team in the following tasks:
· Under direction of the supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency of the operation of the packaging line and adhering to the standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
· Lead on filling out the paperwork and making sure all information is correct.
·Operating all sections of the machine, assemble, manufacture and move products
· Maintain and monitor the machine to make sure it functions properly, if issues arise- then problem solving quickly, so that production can still run
· Conduct quality checks periodically as needed
· Manage incoming and outgoing goods
· Clean down the machine and production hall
ABOUT YOU
· Extremely organised and takes pride in maintaining processes with accuracy
· Strong communication skills and the ability to build excellent relationships with all team members and management
·Experience of working in a production line environment
· Methodical mind, problem solve, use initiative
· Adaptable nature and thrives well under pressure
· An eye for detail and accuracy is essential
· Computer skills are desirable for using the computerised warehouse system
