Technical Sales Engineer Photonics Optics Laser
Do you have experience selling Photonics / Optics / Laser systems?
Maybe large selling high powered laser cutting machines or welding systems or robot automation systems? Are you familiar with high-performance fiber lasers?
This is a permanent position based in the UK Midlands.
The company are a well established and highly respected global laser manufacturer. They have exciting growth plans and are bringing new products to the market. You will be selling to an already established customer base – but new business is always welcome!
The company are based in Warwickshire – we would prefer to recruit someone who lives within commuting distance of the Midlands area. The position will be covering the all the UK.
Salary
Your salary will depend on your capability and experience, but we are looking at circa £50K+/- basic salary with OTE of £100K. + a car allowance.
The job will involve selling to new and existing companies, researching competitors, representing the company at trade fairs and conferences, negotiating with customers, developing new technical markets, coordinate internal and external sales campaigns etc You will be dealing with OEM’s, Integrators, universities and end-users of lasers and laser systems.
Experience of sales within the industrial lasers or welding sector is preferred but not essential.
A Bachelor or Master’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, physical science or a related discipline is preferred but not essential.
