Location: Remote (UK), with the ability to meet in London at our offices when required

Hours: 16 hours per week initially
Salary: Competitive (Up to £30k per year pro rata for part time)
For The Creators is looking for an incredibly talented and creative junior - midweight graphic designer to join our creative team on a part time basis. You will be working collaboratively with the Marketing function, executing a range of creative digital and offline design projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design principles and be able to create visually appealing and engaging content for a variety of platforms, including social media, email, web, and print. The candidate must be a forward thinker, be able to work independently and part of a team. You must have a proven portfolio of design work in the fashion, beauty and wellness industries, demonstrating examples of previous campaigns and marketing design. Applications submitted without a portfolio will not be considered.

Now, Pregnant women and new mothers can rent, buy new, or buy preloved - and we’re only just getting started. We’ve recently moved into the beauty and wellness space too and have so much more in the pipeline. Needless to say, we’re growing fast and are looking to expand our team, bringing on board some incredibly bright and forward thinking design talent to help us elevate the brand and refine our aesthetic.
Responsibilities:
- To ensure the brand is visually communicated in alignment with the overall brand strategy, guidelines and industry best practices.
- To respond to design briefs set by the team and ensure work is carried out against the marketing schedule - meeting all deadlines.
- Create all social media graphics
- Design email campaigns and templates
- Basic video editing and production on video assets and GIFs for all digital channels
- Create web graphics for retail platforms, including banners and icons
- Design print materials, such as packaging, brochures, flyers, and posters
- Design presentation and pdf documents
- Support management of asset library
- Prototyping concepts for approval.
- Work with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns
- Work with external partners, including agencies to deliver assets and ensure consistent and effective communication.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest design trends
Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in graphic design
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field
- Experience in design for fashion, beauty or wellness industries
- Strong understanding of design principles and software
- Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator
- Proficiency in Figma would be ideal
- Experience with video editing
- Experience with print design
- Experience in Wordpress, Shopify, and email CRM would be a bonus.
- Experience with graphic motion design and after effects would be a bonus
- Excellent artworking skills and experience prepping artwork for print
- A strong ‘design eye’ and outstanding attention to detail is a must
- Must be a creative thinker, with a strong visual sense and a proactive approach to work
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Must be adaptable with proven experience working with a team

- You love to create content yourself, including photography, videography (and tik toks!)
- You have an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Ideally, some experience using different CRMs and Shopify would be a real help.
- You have experience working in a start-up environment.
