Faststream are recruiting for a KYC Executive to join one of the world's leading ship operating & management providers.
Based in their central London offices and working as part of the Legal Projects team, you will get an attractive remuneration with a salary between £40,000 and £65,000 (depending on experience) and a benefits package including 25 days holiday, private medical cover and pension amongst others.
As part of this role, your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
- completing AML and KYC compliance tasks and checklists associated with the onboarding of various group entities;
- liaising with banks, law firms, oil majors and other chartering entities to satisfy KYC requests in a timely manner;
- liaising with other departments in order to complete all KYC/compliance queries (e.g. Legal, Finance, Risk and Credit Departments);
- managing multiple tasks and prioritising workflow to meet deadlines.
For more senior candidates, additional compliance duties will be assigned. If you are on the more junior end, you will have the opportunity to develop in the role with the aim to take on these additional responsibilities in the future.
To be successful, you will be a detail-oriented professional with great communication and time management skills.
You will have previous experience with the KYC process and a legal background, currently working as a Legal Secretary, Legal Assistant, Paralegal, Compliance Officer or in a similar position.
