Accounts Assistant

Job Description

Dynamic CCTV Limited are a leading security and fire distributor with award-winning technical support dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service to its customers.

Dynamic CCTV Limited has a vast international network of suppliers, with its headquarters located in the centre of Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire.

Due to rapid growth and large expansion, Dynamic CCTV are recruiting an Accounts Assistant.

The role: As Accountants Assistant you will work closely with the Accounts Supervisor and Finance Manager, undertaking various transactional finance duties. In this role, you will be a key team member, supporting the smooth running of the Finance Department.

Responsibilities:

· Inputting and maintaining both the sales and purchase ledger;

· Bank posting;

· Bank reconciliations;

· Processing expenses;

· Running payroll and keeping pension information up to date;

· Supporting the Accounts Finance Manager on VAT returns;

· Completing weekly and monthly journals;

· Supporting the Finance Manager on month and year end procedures;

· Credit control;

· Supporting the Finance Manager on keeping company insurances up to date;

· Any other ad hoc duties as requested by the Accounts Supervisor and Finance Manager.

Experience/Skills required:

· At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position such as an Accounts Assistant or Senior Accounts.

· Experience with transactional journals

· Excel and Microsoft Office skills;

· Good attention to detail

· Maintain confidentiality

· Working under own initiative

Desirable:

· Knowledge and experience of Business Central

· Working in an ISO accredited environment

· AAT Qualification

· Working within Sage 50 payroll

· Understanding of employee benefits and P11d

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From £28,000.00 per year
