As a Biomedical Scientist at our [insert hospital name], you’ll bring the relevant qualifications and laboratory experience in multidisciplinary biomedical science. You have a good working knowledge of different analytical equipment in a range of techniques. You’re also a natural communicator and team player, and you share our idea of quality.
As a Biomedical Scientist, you will:
Deliver high-quality pathology services
Complete your share of covering the out-of-hours on-call service
Perform biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation, reporting and quality control
Keep records of specimens, results, reagents and consumables
Support the validation and assessment of new equipment and new diagnostic procedures
Help ensure we deliver the very best experience for patients

Wessex is a stunning 46 bedded private hospital in West Hampshire with specialisms in Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Urology, Women’s Health and Spinal surgery. The hospital also benefits from having onsite Radiology, Pathology, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy and Hydrotherapy so we can give our patients a complete package of care. There are 16 consulting rooms with speciality outpatient rooms, 46 private patient bedrooms with en-suite facilities, 24 hr resident doctor on site (RMO) and four operating theatres and one endoscopy suite.
