An opportunity has arisen in the Payroll Department for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our team as a Payroll Officer, working alongside a team of 28 exceptional Payroll colleagues., with a structure that allows for career progression.
In several months we will be moving to new light, airy and spacious offices within the Johnson Building on Pride Park in Derby.
Attendance on-site for training will be required, but after successful completion of required training, hybrid working options may be available.
The Pay & Pensions Department provides the in-house Payroll and Pension facility for University Hospitals of Derby & Burton, and 3 other local NHS Trusts, producing around 238,000 payslips per annum. This includes both weekly and monthly payrolls.
Our aim is to ensure all colleagues are paid correctly and deadlines are met, and that information provided to employees and customer service is to the highest standards.
You will be required to action information and data provided by the Trust in electronic and manual form and in accordance with the Trust policies and procedures to ensure the provision of payment of salaries is accurate and that deadlines are achieved.
