Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced paralegal, legal assistant, or legal secretary to join the private client department in our Wanstead office. The successful candidate will need to have some experience working with a firm of Solicitors. Private client experience would be preferable, but is not essential.
Candidates will need the following
- Good communication and team work skills
- Good telephone manner
- An ability to handle difficult clients/ manage expectations
- A positive attitude and eagerness to be involved in all areas of the business
- A desire to become part of one of the UK's fastest growing legal businesses
The duties will also include:
- Taking instructions from prospective clients
- Operating our case management software
- Opening new matter files
- Drafting Client Care Letters
- Reading legal documents/ correspondence and drafting/ sending out correspondence on behalf of fee earners
- Dealing with telephone enquiries
- Filing, printing, photocopying and any other ad hoc jobs to assist fee earners
