Job Description
Our Toddlers are sad. One of their favorite teachers has decided to move.
We are looking for an Infant/Toddler teacher to start immediately.
In order to qualify for this position, you must have at least 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) Semester units AND the Infant/Toddler class.
Applicants must also have at least 6 months experience working with children under 2 years old.
The hours for this position are 8:30-5:30, with a 1-hour lunch. These are the only hours we have. Please do not apply if you cannot work these hours.
We are looking for someone who never ever gets angry and understands that crying is the only way of communicating that these children know right now while they are listening and absorbing all that is said around them.
We feel an experienced Infant/Toddler teacher is one that knows that, yes, you will have to remind children several times over and over (and over again) before some of them absorb it.

In exchange for you taking the time to get to know these toddlers, comforting and laughing and playing with them while they adapt to being away from their parents we will pay between $22.50/hr and $33.00/hr.
$22.50/hr is our lowest starting pay for teachers with less than 15 ECE units and less than 1-year experience.
We pay $33/hr to teachers with a 2-year ECE degree and 20 years experience.
If you fall somewhere between these two examples in ECE units or experience, then your pay would also be in between these two numbers.
We close for 22 holiday days per year. After your initial 90 days, these are paid.
If you do not live in the SF Bay Area, please include a cover letter stating when you intend to move, and when you can start work.
At this time, we are not prepared to sponser H1B or any other work visas.
