Swansea, Monday Friday days
£35,000 -£38,000

Are you an experienced Quality Engineer seeking an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a manufacturing environment? We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our clients team in Swansea. As a Quality Engineer, you will work closely with the Production team to establish and maintain our quality system for production, packaging, assembly, and warehouse activities.


Quality Engineer- Main Duties

  • Develop and maintain quality instructions, specifications, and standards.
  • Collaborate with the purchasing team to establish quality requirements for suppliers and drive quality improvements.
  • Conduct goods inwards checks and inspect critical components for quality.
  • Support quality training and mentor production staff.
  • Conduct audits of the production quality system.
  • Investigate non-conformance and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Manage shipping release and customer returns processes.
  • Ensure effective control of non-conforming items.
  • Maintain records and analyze data to drive quality improvement.

What are we looking for in you?


  • Experienced in managing quality in a manufacturing environment.
  • HNC/HND or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic and/or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Good understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
  • Experience in electronic product or medical device assembly is desirable.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 13485 is desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to evaluate complex data and provide clear, actionable insights.
  • Constructively challenge issues and provide training and support for improvement.
