Job Description

Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust, Health and Justice Services, Children and Young people service line delivers high quality integrated and trauma informed service for young people within the youth justice settings

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, innovative and enthusiasticWellbeing service lead to join our team atHMP YOI Feltham. Applications welcomed from mental health nurses, psychologists, therapists and social workers with experience in senior roles and interest in both clinical and operational management.By joining Integrated Health Care Team, you will work within a multidisciplinary service as part of the senior management team ensuring young people and adults residing in Feltham receive age appropriate, high quality care in partnership with the Youth Custody services, HMPS and other agencies.

Our motto is“Caring NOT Judging”so by working in partnership with the criminal justice system and other agencies, we provide responsive, dependable and high-quality primary care and mental health services to those who may have offended and those at risk of offending in the communities we serve, to improve their health status and to encourage social inclusion.

PLEASE NOTE ANY CANDIDATE WISHING TO APPLY WILL BE SUBJECT TO HMPPS VETTING CLEARANCE. WHICH REQUIRES YOU TO HAVE BEEN A RESIDENT IN THE UK FOR A MINIMUM OF 3 YEARS. CANDIDATES WHO DO NOT MEET THIS CRITERIA NEED NOT APPLY.

The post holder will lead the Wellbeing provision, to ensure a trauma informed and tailored service focussed on the complex needs of the population. The post holder is responsible for strategic and operational Leadership of the service as well as supporting the clinical leadership, ensuring that the highest quality age appropriate , evidence-based services are provided.
