We are WorkwithYork and are collaborating with our local authority client to find Care Workers for an immediate start in a sheltered housing setting.
Full time, Part time or ad hoc hours, during the day.
The rate of pay is between £11.77 to £14.12 per hour.

Can you demonstrate proven skills for:
- Providing personal care including personal hygiene and dressing
- Assisting with domestic duties, including cleaning and meal preparation
- Assisting with medication when needed
- Providing some Personal Care, which may be needed
- Providing sensitive and flexible support.
- Following and contributing to individual and service care plans, risk assessments and policies.
- Keep accurate and timely records, respecting and maintaining customers’ privacy and confidentiality.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with customer and carers and consult with other professionals in emergency situations.
- Work on your own initiative, as well as part of a larger team.
You will need:
- Some experience of working in care.
- Have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Have an Adults DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
