Production Operative – WAKEFIELD
An amazing opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Operative to join our friendly client, who specialises in manufacturing components and products for the building industry based in Wakefield, WF2.

Benefits:
- Monday to Thursday, 8am to 5pm & Friday, 8am -3pm
- £11.88 per hour (weekly pay)
- Permanent contract available
- Immediate start available
- £40.00 weekly attendance bonus after 12 weeks
Main duties of the job:
- Manual handling of various materials such as timber, stainless steel building and fencing components.
- Operating machinery such as; Milling machines, Grinders, Lathes, Cutting machines and various other machinery as and when needed (full training provided)
- Quality checking products to the highest of standards before despatch
- Palletising and shrink wrapping orders
- Preparing orders for dispatch
- Loading and unloading of products as and when needed
- Various other duties
Skills Required:
- Previous experience within a manufacturing, machine operating or hands on environment would be essential
- Candidates must be physically fit due to the nature of the job role and materials you will be working with
- Hands on, positive ‘can do’ attitude towards learning new skills would be essential
