The Role
We are looking for a Building Manager to cover the full management of a newly renovated prestigious office building in Bristol City Centre. Working with our Facilities Management team you will be expected to manage all hard, and soft services within the building whilst continually innovating the client and tenant experience.
To be successful in this role Facilities or Building Management experience is essential, as well as a high level of customer service.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled Building Manager to utilise their skills and expertise and put their stamp on a newly renovated prestigious office building right in the heart of Bristol City Centre.
- Ensuring the safety of the building's occupants and visitors
- Ensure the security of the building
- Monitoring of CCTV system
- Providing the main initial contact for visitors, contractors and tenants to the building
- Liaison with Tenants on a day-to-day basis offering an efficient friendly interface
- Organise regular tenant activities and events in conjunction with local businesses.
- Continually evaluate our offering to tenants and innovate the front of house experience for the tenants in the building
- Handle and coordinate potential viewings of vacant space
- Regulate (and monitor) the facilities to meet ALL regulations and guidelines ensuring that the premises are in compliance with all applicable legislations
- Handle any problems / complaints from the occupants effectively
- Update occupiers regarding maintenance and compliance issues
- Coordinate building maintenance and repairs
- Attend and coordinate tenant meetings
- Monitor the performance of all contractors working on site
- Maintaining records regarding all mandatory and non-mandatory inspections
- Operation and control of the building management system
- Develop and implement site emergency procedures
- Carrying out building inspections and assemble a prioritized reactive maintenance list
- Advising on energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Assemble regular and ad hoc reports as required by the client.
- Site meter reads
- Management of site via CAFM systems
- Stock and order of any required materials and consumables
· Any other duties deemed to be within your capabilities
Qualifications Required/Preferred
· IOSH Managing Safely (preferred)
· Facilities Management experience.
· Health and safety training.
· Fire Warden Training.
Various internal training
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £34,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
