Our Galashiels team is looking for a part time receptionist to join our busy ever growing practice! Are you the ideal person to join our team?
At Galedin we pride ourselves on our client care, and in this role your strong interpersonal skills will be key to developing and maintaining our client relationships.
Your principal areas of responsibility will be to provide a first-class friendly and efficient service whilst welcoming clients, dealing with queries and booking appointments (face to face and by telephone), and taking and recording payments.
Previous experience of working in a veterinary or agricultural environment will be beneficial, although it is not essential as training will be provided.
What is essential, however, is your ability to demonstrate an excellent track record in the delivery of customer service to a very high standard.
In addition to the above, you must be computer literate, numerate, and possess excellent time management skills.
Hours of work are expected to be 29 hours per week. The role fulfils a Saturday morning rota from 8.00am to 1.00pm on a rotational 1 in 3 basis. The working pattern for this position is expected to be; Monday 8am-1pm, Tuesday 8am-1pm, Wednesday 8am-6pm, Thursday 1pm-6pm, Friday 12pm-6pm. A flexible approach is desirable to provide cover for any planned holidays or unplanned absence.
