Our role
You will work within an experienced team and receive mentoring from senior finance professionals. The Finance Trainee role will provide you with an opportunity to gain experience and make an impact in the following areas:
Support the month end process and the production of management accounts for internal and shareholder reporting-
Support the annual financial reporting process and the completion of Ofgem returns
-
Involvement in the annual budgeting process working with finance colleagues and other key stakeholders around the business to develop accurate forecasts
-
Work closely with stakeholders from across the business to provide financial analysis and decision support to ensure a high quality financial control environment and support improvements in business performance.
To apply for this accountancy role, you should hold a degree level qualification of 2-1 or above in a relevant discipline. You will also require the following:

Excellent analytical and numerical skills with the ability to logically process and interpret data

The ability to work well in a team as well as independently and proactively, driving projects and activities to a successful conclusion

The ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation and influence accordingly

Results-focused with the ability to manage multiple priorities well

Good communication skill
- Comfortable with the use of computer systems and applications, in particular MS Office.
