Job Description:
Risk Management & Insurance Internship – 12 months
Mission: Support the Schneider Electric Risk & Insurance Management (SERIM) Team in its missions to support Schneider achieving its business objectives

Identification and assessment of insurable risks
-
Design of compliant insurance programmes
-
Selection of insurance companies and service providers
-
Recommendation of loss prevention and mitigation strategies
-
Communication of insurance and risk processes to stakeholders
Location: Hybrid: London Victoria / working from home
Key responsibilities:
Support the team in the creation of effective communications of risk topics to internal & external stakeholders such as insurance companies and other Schneider corporate functions-
Improve the visibility and functionality of the team’s SharePoint site

Improve the management of risk management data associated with loss prevention activities to drive change

Support the team in the management of global insurance programmes, through the entire renewal process

Collaborate with the group’s sustainability function to leverage the use of SE’s insurance data and the resources of global insurance companies

Assist in the handling of specific complex insurance claims
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or working towards
Key Skills & Attributes:

Excellent communication & IT skills
-
Knowledge of Risk Management practices (Commercial Insurance knowledge an advantage)

Good working knowledge of Microsoft products – especially Excel and PowerPoint
-
Management of time and differing tasks & priorities
