We have an exciting opportunity to join our Construction Finance team as a Trainee Accountant in Woolpit, Suffolk. You will be assisting the Management Accountant and supporting the team by taking ownership of preparation, analysis and submission of the construction bonus and overtime and assist in the analysis of the construction management accounts.

Responsibilities will include -
- Assist in the preparation of month end management accounts
- Prepare and post month end journals
- Prepare and analyse balance sheet reconciliations
- Own the processing, analysis and submission of monthly overtime and bonus payments
- Resolve overtime and bonus payment queries
- Produce monthly stock schedules and process stock count returns received
- Assist in organisation and coordination of year end stock count

What we’re looking for –
- Studying towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent experience within a Finance department
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Proactive approach
