Hotel Football is looking for an Assistant Financial Controller join our finance team. To thrive in this role you will have excellent communication skills, be an enthusiastic and dynamic individual who is looking for a new challenge in a fantastic hotel. This is very much a hands on role, requiring a keen eye for detail.
As you grow in the role, you’ll become an integral part of the team with the ability to advise and action all things finance. If budgeting and excel are you bread and butter this will be the role for you.
About the role-
- Responsible for the properties overall accounting and financial management.
- Support with the preparation and reviewing of annual budgets, monthly forecasts, operating results.
- Ensure a strong accounting and operational control environment to safeguard company assets.
- Assist proactively with cost control requirements.
- Assist with revenue enhancement possibilities.
- Work with the Finance Controller and Head of Departments to assist and provide financial guidance in the formulation and implementation of the hotel budget and forecasts.
- Support the Financial Controller with the preparation of the monthly Profit and Loss Statement.
- Involvement with P&L commentary
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasting process
- Assist with the month end close process including consolidated management reporting, variance analysis, cashflow, business KPIs and commentary to senior management
