I am a charming, outgoing, active young gentleman living in my own home. I have Cerebral Palsy and require 24-hour care to lead an independent and fulfilling life. I enjoy swimming, listening to music, bingo and going to meet my friends.
I am looking for a professional, reliable and understanding Care Assistant to join my small team. Regular shifts are starting at 2pm on Friday and finishing at 2pm on Saturday with a sleep-in night 23:00-07:00 or starting at 2pm on Tuesday and finishing at 6pm on Wednesday with a sleep-in night from 23:00-07:00. The successful candidate will have the ability and flexibility to help cover holiday and sick leave of other team members as required.
Day rate £12.00 per hour, sleep in rate £10.42 per hour.
The ideal candidate will be honest, calm and have a good sense of humour and a zest for life.
Being a fluent English speaker is an essential skill for this post and although training and previous experience will be an advantage it is not essential, as full training will be given.
5.6 weeks holiday is awarded per year as standard (pro rata for part time positions). Employees are also able to join the Company Pension scheme after 3 months’ service, subject to the rules of the scheme, as well as our Cash Back Health Plan after completion of a successful probation period.
