Job Description

What you'll be doing:
  • We're currently recruiting a dedicated Operations Manager and to ensure the smooth running of operations in Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust and Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust. This is a full-time role, contracted to 40 hours per week.

    The purpose of this role is to develop and lead a team of Support Services Managers within the contract to provide exceptional service to our clients. The services include portering, security, domestics, switchboard and catering. The Operations Manager will also be the first point of contact for the client and contractual relationships ensuring compliance and company policies are adhered to and commercial objectives are achieved.

  • Drive patient satisfaction scores for all service streams
  • Manage KPI’s
  • Direct management and leadership of departmental managers
  • Ensure team are coached, developed and supported to achieve targets
  • Own and manage budget
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to at all times
What we’ll give:

Operations Manager - Darent Valley Hospital

up to £55000 per annum dependent on experience

40 hours per week

27 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Essential

  • Senior management experience in Soft Facilities Management
  • Senior management experience leading and inspiring operational teams to deliver results
  • Led the implementation of change programmes to deliver operational benefits
  • Experience of working within brand guidelines to deliver results
  • Experience in highly commercial and price sensitive markets
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Fully conversant with current Health and Safety and food safety regulation.
  • Experience on application of risk management, analysis and reduction
