About Us
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Nottingham store team of Blue Banana; one of the largest and most well-known body piercing and alternative clothing retailers in the UK today. Founded in 1997, our stores have gone from strength to strength and now boast a wide range of official band merchandise, colourful hair dye, alternative clothing, jewellery and footwear, across all our thirteen high street stores.
Coupled with this, all of our stores feature registered and licensed piercing studios, making us one of the largest body piercing chains in the UK, carrying out over 140,000 piercings annually.
Due to exceptionally strong and sustained growth, we are delighted to be advertising for the role of Store Manager.
The Role
We're looking for highly motivated, target driven individuals with a proven track record in the retail sector to help assist the existing Management Team and help lead the team in our Nottingham store.

Criteria for a good candidate:
- Must have Management experience
- Must be a good team leader
- Must be able to manage a team
- Must be sales focused/target driven
Responsibilities Include:
- Leading the store's team to generate sales, profit, minimise losses, and create the best possible customer experience whilst ensuring the store is visually distinctive and impeccably maintained.
- Identify opportunities to grow the business and improve performance through collaborating with others.
- Focus staff on the importance of quality of relationships with customers.
- Complete daily/weekly store walkthroughs; evaluate product performance, pricing, staff service levels and inventory levels.
- Analyse store level reports and create action plans to improve results.
- Clearly communicate to staff: store and individual sales goals and other key performance expectations; sales results and provide guidance on what is needed to improve performance.

Salary: Up to £22,000.00 per year
