As part of our Income Maximisation team, you’ll deliver a high-quality income maximisation service to tenants. You’ll take recovery action, represent at court, negotiate repayments, and offer advice and assistance.

What you’ll be doing:

Providing tenant-focussed rent and other debt collection services

Managing a caseload of accounts, working with tenants to maximise their income and manage their budgets effectively

Carrying out visits to tenants’ homes

Liaising with third parties including the housing benefits department and DWP

Supporting tenants to repay debts, negotiating payment in full or in affordable and reasonable instalments

Referring tenants to relevant external agencies such as welfare rights and debt advice organisations

Collaborating with Sheltered Housing Scheme Wardens regarding payment of debts
What we’re looking for:

Excellent customer service and communications skills

Knowledge of housing legislation and rent recovery procedures
