Job Summary:

• To assess and treat own caseload of patients within the defined clinical area and maintains associated records
• To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner within your area of specialty
• Facilitates and supports the discharge planning process
• Supervises less experienced physiotherapists, therapy assistants / technicians and students.
• To work flexibly across specialties when requested, and if competency allows

Qualifications

• HCPC Registration
• BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy, or equivalent
• Member Chartered Society Physiotherapy

Skills and Knowledge

• Post graduate courses relevant to field of expertise
• Excellent clinical skills in relevant field of expertise
• Good English speaking and writing skills
• Good working knowledge of basic IT software (word & excel, email)

Experience

• Relevant post registration experience as a physiotherapist
• Working in the NHS
• Evidence of working in a team situation
• Evidence of student or physiotherapy assistant supervision
• Demonstrate an understanding of the importance of delivering quality of care
• Respects the privacy and dignity of individuals
• Demonstrate an understanding of equal opportunities
